<DIV>I Have recently downloaded the Quantum GIS 1.7.4 from the internet but have
not been able to start using the sample data in the user manual QGIS 1.7.0
(nothing appears in the select box for Erdas images after selecting the raster
icon). The user manual states there should be a file called Lakes, can anyone
help to find these files for me so I cane get started with the sample data. I
tried deleting the programme and reinstalling it but now I am unable to open the
programme at all from the desktop or any where else. Has anyone any ideas
on these problem - I would be very grateful</DIV>
