Sorry for the late reply I was in fieldwork

This is one for example
http://www.biosphere3d.org/
However there are many more...
would not really like to virtualize as it gets quite slow.
Wine works well in other Linux deployments. I think it would be a good idea to include it directly into ArchOS as it is not so simple to install it separately(at least I did not succed)

OK keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot
Nic

Hi,

can you tell us which windows software do you mean? Maybe we can see if
there is the possibility make them run in Linux (if they run under
WINE, they should have a simple source code...). Anyway an other
possibility is to virtualize Windows in ArcheOS throught a VM (like
Virtual Box).

Ciao.

        Hi

Just tried to install Wine for on ArcheOS, however I found few
difficulties.

I was just wondering if anyone succeded...

I mean I managed to installe it but the programs do not run.

I believe there is an issue between the 32bit and 64 bit version.

Is there any prespective to package wine for ArhceOS.

I believe that there is very interesting Open source software that
unfortunately is been developed only for windows and wine would be a
good solution.

Thanks

Nic
