Hi all,
I'm trying a different approach to build next release of ArcheOS. I'm pretty busy so I recap some steps and infos here:

I set up a live Debian Lenny system

On top of it I've installed git-core (for fetching packages) and live-helper

In the /root directory I've created a dir called live-debian and entered it

launch lh_config -p kde

copy the etc and usr folders of the GIT repository in config/chroot_local-includes/

copy the deb packages in config/chroot_local-packages/

edit config/chroot and add to the LH_PACKAGES="" the list of packages to install from repos (can be found on the redmine wiki)

edit config/binary and set the LH_DEBIAN_INSTALLER="" to enabled

do other customization

launch lh_build

Now we need to talk about kde3, artwork, and so on...

--
@P=split//,".URRUU\c8R";@d=split//,"\niranruF oizirbaF";sub p{
@p{"r$p","u$p"}=(P,P);pipe"r$p","u$p";++$p;($q*=2)+=$f=!fork;map{$P=$P[$f^ord
($p{$_})&6];$p{$_}=/ ^$P/ix?$P:close$_}keys%p}p;p;p;p;p;map{$p{$_}=~/^[P.]/&&
close$_}%p;wait until$?;map{/^r/&&<$_>}%p;$_=$d[$q];sleep rand(2)if/\S/;print
