I installed some packages from archeos repos and everything works fine. So I agree with your proposal.<br></div>Bye<br><br></div>Denis<br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">2015-11-23 11:47 GMT+01:00 luca.bezzi <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:luca.bezzi@arc-team.com" target="_blank">luca.bezzi@arc-team.com</a>></span>:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">

<div style="font:normal 13px Arial;color:rgb(0,0,0)">Hi all,
<br>due to work reason, I had to backup my old ArcheOS Theodoric system and
install a new Debian Jessie. I am now checking all the software packages
up to now, but I was thinking that I could work on a fast ArcheOS-next
version (just with binary packages, for amd64) that I could share for
testing. When it will be ready, we could try to work on a "source"
version, slowly translating the missing binary packages into source one.
I see that some problems we had with Debian Wheeze are automatically
solved in Jessie (e.g. FreeCAD) and probably there would be less
software to package (both for packages already present in Debian repos
and for a better software selection).
<br>Actually I am reviewing the package list, so that I should have soon an
updated one (with a more strict software choice. I will post soon other
mail asking for review about some software.
<br>Have a nice day!
