configurazione di Samba in una rete Win NT.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>La rete rete LAN è così costituita:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>1) Server WinNT 4.0 PDC con SP 6a </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>2) Server Linux Red Hat 7.1 con Samba 2.2.2</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Premesso che con Server Manager di WinNT ho configurato
nel dominio un server con il nome NetBios del server linux
(LINUXSRV)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Il mio intento è quello di fare riconoscere il server Linux
come server membro del dominio NT; pertanto eseguo la seguente
procedura:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>1) eseguo lo stop dei demoni di samba smbd e nmd sul
server linux</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>2) al propmt dei comandi del server linux digito:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>smbpasswd -j FELIX -r SUPERSERVER</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>dove:</FONT><FONT size=2> FELIX->Dominio NT e
SUPERSERVER -> Nome NetBios ServerNT</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Tuttavia al prompt del server linux ottengo la seguente
risposta:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
