[hack] Problema con Mandriva 2006

la parte interessante secondo me è questa: non riesce a montare la 
partizione di root, anche se il modulo ext3 sembra che venga caricato 
senza problemi......
anche perché, se non mi sbaglio, mount error 6 = no such device or address

io proverei a partire con un live cd per cercare di capire dove è il 
problema.........
tanto per cominciare darei una controllata al file /etc/fstab per 
verificare che l'indirizzo della partizione sia specificato in modo 
corretto, però..... dipende da quanta esperienza hai di "smanettamento" 
con i file di sistema........ potrebbe non essere così immediato........

o magari il problema è un altro..... ad esempio, facendo una ricerca con 
google ho trovato questo suggerimento:

hai detto che il pc è nuovo..... quindi è possibile che l'hd sia 
sata.... è così??
