Italian Perl Workshop 2008<br>

Perl.it e Pisa.pm, in collaborazione con l'Università di Pisa, organizzano<br>
l'Italian Perl Workshop 2008, quarta edizione della conferenza nazionale sul<br>
linguaggio Perl e tecnologie correlate.<br>
<br>
La conferenza si terrà a Pisa, nei giorni 18-19 settembre 2008, nel<br>
dipartimento di Informatica dell'Università.<br>
L'evento è GRATUITO, sebbene sia necessario registrarsi per partecipare.<br>
<br>
Il Workshop vuole essere un'occasione d'incontro rivolta a tutti gli<br>
utilizzatori di Perl, professionisti o amatoriali che siano, ma anche a chi si<br>
avvicina per la prima volta a questo linguaggio e ne vuole conoscere le<br>
particolarità e la cultura.<br>
Gli argomenti della conferenza riguarderanno Web 2.0, Parrot/Perl 6, interfacce<br>
a Database, sviluppo Web (mod_perl, application servers, CMS, Catalyst, etc),<br>
sviluppo Perl (internals, metodologie, test frameworks, ottimizzazioni, etc),<br>
sviluppo con librerie grafiche (Gtk+2, Tk, WxWidgets), amministrazione di<br>
sistema, ecc.<br>

La data entro cui è possibile inviare un proprio intervento è il 31 luglio<br>
2008.<br>

Italian Perl Workshop 2008<br>
<br>
Perl.it and Pisa.pm, with the collaboration of Università di Pisa, are<br>
organizing the 4th edition of the Italian Perl Workshop (IPW 2008).<br>
The conference will be held in Pisa, in rooms of the Computer Science<br>
department of the University of Pisa, on September 18-19, 2008.<br>
The event represents the national conference about Perl language and related<br>
technologies.<br>
<br>
Registration and participation are FREE of charge, and includes a coffee-break<br>
service, also gratis.<br>
<br>
The workshop is aimed at Perl users, professionals and hobbyists alike, to aid<br>
in the exchange of information and in the building of a stronger Perl community<br>
in Italy.<br>
The arguments of the conference will cover Web 2.0, Parrot/Perl 6, Database<br>
interfaces, Web development (mod_perl, Catalyst, application servers, CMS,<br>
etc), Perl development (internals, methodologies, test frameworks,<br>
optimizations, etc), System administration, GUI libraries usage (Gtk+2, Tk,<br>
WxWidgets) and so on.<br>
