Yes.

I've been very busy, and I still am, so I couldn't really produce any
"for fun" software. Not study nor anything else (and my email queue is
over 300 now -- 12 of them are pxc-related).

I plan to make a massive upgrade to the pxc driver pretty soon. I want
to port it to 2.4 (possibly dropping 2.0 support), implement
double-buffering and correct locking for SMP. Possibly testing on
other platforms as well, if time permits.

But first I have to complete the new edition of the book and delivery
other drivers that are paid for (you know, they take precedence
because life is costly and the marked for GPL stuff is tiny).

I'm not experiencing them. I've had them only with older versions.
Most likely it's the high load on the PCI bus.
