[RELug] problemi con il masterizzatore

ciao a tutti,
come da oggetto il masterizzatore cd-dvd del mio portatile sta facendo
un po di bizze... semplicemente non masterizza :(
Vi posto un po di info e log. Premetto che di masterizzazione non ne so
moltissimo, quindi se vi serve altro ditemi pure.

Tutto e' partito dal fatto che ho aperto brasero per masterizzarmi Etch con
kde da mettere sul portatile della morosa, ma semplicemente nella
finestrella della masterizzazione di immagine ISO non c'era nessuna device
selezionabile per il compito. Quindi ho provato con wodim.
Wodim lo rileva correttamente

... e torna al prompt della linea di comando. Sono queste ultime cinque
righe che non capisco bene ...
Per finire ho riavviato e bootato una kubuntu 6.06 presente su un'altra
partizione ; con k3b (e cdrecord) ho provato a rimasterizzare sia
auto(=DAO) che TAO (perche' consigliata alla fine del primo tentativo), ma
entrambi falliscono miseramente, adducendo errori di scrittura. Ecco i log

Mi sembra che sia un errore (che illuminazione eh?), non che gli manchi
qualcosa... mi spiego negli ultimi tempi sto smanettando attorno al
kernel, ma tutto quel che serve per il cd (o almeno credo) l'ho compilato,
neanche messo modulare. Il mio config e' qui:

In sostanza il mio masterizzatore legge ma non scrive neanche a pregarlo,
almeno per le prove che ho fatto io ... poi magari ho sbagliato qualcosa.
