Bug in APT

Today while I'm messing with the Squeeze installer, I've found that the
autoremove of this version of APT was buggy. In fact trying to install KDE
resolves in a problem similar to this:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=542767
The options at this point are:
1. Wait to release ArcheOS until the bug is completely fixed (now is
marked as "critical")
2. Use the Lenny version (Stable) that doesn't suffer this bug anymore.
Each choice has his pros and his cons, what do you think about?
