Yes you are absolutely right!
I am sorry if I have used the word "shame" I have realized as soon as I 
have sent the email that it was not the right word.
What I really mean was that it is a "pity"
I will try to test FluxBox if I manage to install it.
I have never tried OSGeo-Live and I will also give it a go.
I am not so sure if can manage to build my own ArcheOS, I have remeber 
some notion of  programming and compiling from my old days at school and 
since then I only concentrate my work on graphics and 3d I am not sure 
if I can manage again, but I will also give it a go.
