[bglug] Fetchmail, fetch o non fetch

ho un problema con fetchmail, ogni tanto fa crash e il demone smette la sua esecuzione, questi sono 
i log finali. Qualche idea? in internet non sono riuscito a trovare niente in merito a questo errore.

stream socket error
fetchmail: socket error while fetching from pop.mediacom.it

fetchmail: terminated with signal 13
