[Tech] AIUTO CONCRETO! ;-)...ho compilato il kernel etc...ma dove metto cosa?!?

Ho compilato di fresco il mio kernel 2.2.17 e forte dei miei duemila HOW-TO che
mi ero procurato mi sono trovato di fronte ad un imbarazzante imbarazzo.. Allora nella cartella
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17 mi sono imbattuto in questi due file che mi sembrano
importanti...:-P...:

Perdonate la mia ossessiva completezza ma a questo punto non so cosa devo
copiare nella cartella /boot per caricare il mio nuovo kernel!!! Il file
bzImage creato in /usr/src/kernel-2.2.17/arch/i386/boot ed il file System.map
della directory /usr/src/linux-2.2.17 oppure ( come a me sembrerebbe date
anche le dimensioni del file ) i  file vmlinuz e System.map della cartella
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17 ? Io avrei anche pensato (emulando l'attuale cartella
/boot ) di copiare in /boot sia i file vmlinuz e System.map della cartella
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17 ( rinominando vmlinuz in vmlinuz-2.2.17 ) SIA il file
bzImage rinominandolo vmlinuz-2.2.17....Ma francamente preferisco avere un
vostro feedback ( sul quale conto molto...;-)..)
