Salve a tutti:
Mi è capitato un brutto problema che purtroppo non riesco a risolvere:
la mia configurazione attuale è:
Debian Woody, kernel 2.4.2, Gnome Ximiam 1.4, devfsd per i dispositivi e
Xfree 4.x
premetto che non ho problemi di librerie (almeno credo) e che domenica
mattina tutto funzionava benone.
Quando da utente avvio un terminale (gnome-terminal o rxvt non fà
differenza), questo si blocca con il seguente messaggio:

	There as been an error while trying to log in
	If you are using Linux 2.2.x with glibc 2.1.x, this
	is probably due to incorrectly setup Unix98 ptys.
	Please read linux/Documentation/Changes for how to
	set them up incorrectly.

Ora, da root nessun problema: i terminali li apro quanti ne voglio, mi loggo
tranquillamente anche sugli altri utenti. I permessi di /dev/ptmx sono a
posto (666) e il supporto Unix98 è compilato nel Kernel.

Ripeto che tutto andava benone fino a domenica :(((
