[Tech] Autoremove? No grazie!

Help!

cercando di installare un pacchetto mi viene suggerito 
 di fare un autoremove per eliminare un centinaio di pacchetti,
 tipo gnumeric od abiword.
Se pero' faccio un upgrade od un dist-upgrade non mi dice niente.

E' grave? C'e' rimedio?
