[Flug] mysql da problemi

ciao a tutti,
ho un problemino...
dove installare un serverino che dovrà avere apache .1.x php4 e mysql, con
una debian unstable
sempre all interno di questo sistema ci dovrò mettere squid con calamaris,
che funzioni da cache proxy con anche i filtri per sito pornagrafici etc. e
lui va...


prendo il tutto dai vari paccchetti deb,

apache e php4 partono tranquillamente ma mysql non ne vuole sapere buttando
questo errore e non aprendo la sua porta

e qui muore nei log in /var/log/mysql.err dice

proxy:/var/log/mysql# tail -n 20 mysql.err
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket:
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!

server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket:

come faccio a farlo partire?
visto che non ho toccato nessun opzione particolare nn dovrei aver già
;-))fatto casino...

l installazione è pulita pulita.
