Support application deployments and maintain software distribution systems.

QUALIFICATIONS



Competencies required:

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated experience

Between 3 to 5 years of related professional experience in a similar role

Excellent command of English, further European languages preferred

High level of knowledge on Linux operating system (RedHat/CentOS preferred)

Understanding of modern network technologies and protocols.

Experience with PostgreSQL and desirable knowledge of SQL

Python and Bash scripting languages

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective

Our Watch Technology Delivery and Strategy organization is in looking a
Senior Software Developer to participate in the team building software
solutions for the International TAM business. In particular this position
on the team that is supporting and deploying our International software
tools and technologies for our International clients. This position will be
located in Lugano, Switzerland.



Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Develop, test and document new software features required by the business

Become knowledgeable on existing software solutions in order to maintain
them

Support migration from legacy solutions

QUALIFICATIONS



Person specifications/ Competencies required:

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated experience

Between 3 to 5 years of related professional experience in a similar role

Experience with Java J2EE, ANT, JUnit, Spring, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Hadoop,
Spark, MapReduce, HiveQL, Oozie, Tomcat, Linux

Desirable knowledge of Bash, Python, C/C++, Eclipse

Excellent command of English, further European languages preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective
