[FoLUG] problemi connessione internet/seriale

Ciao a tutti
Ho perso la possibilitā si collegarmi ad internet,
ho sempre usato il pppconfig,
con kppp ho richiesto la diagnostica del modem, lo vede, risponde, č su ttyS0,
esiste anche il link simbolico /dev/modem che punta alla com1.
Il giorno precedente ho fatto un banzai-upgrade ai 3 cdrom debian sarge di
linux-pro,
ma il sistema non mi sembra ne abbia risentito minimamente (a parte questo
problema).
Sembra che il sistemi cerchi di comunicare con il modem visto che
le lucette di ricezione e spedizione lampeggiano brevemente ogni 3/4 secondi.
Con altri sistemi operativi funziona la conessione.
Posto alcune informazioni del mio sistema nel caso servissero a risolvere
l'inghippo.
