[FoLUG] raid5 software

Mi sto accingento a colonizzare un nuovo server con gentoo e non e' 
dotato di scheda raid. Quindi essendo dotato di tre splendidi dischi
da 36gb scsi stavo pensando di configurare un bel raid software. Stavo
pensando a queste due configurazioni:
- raid5 classico
- raid1 su due dischi + hot spare
Qual'e' la migliore in caso di guasto? Cosa avviene quando fallisce un 
disco? La macchina continua a stare su?
