[FoLUG] [loopback] - ho le allucinazioni??!!!

Ciao a tutti!!!
mi trovo di fronte ad un problema(?) strano (almeno per me). Sto 
approntanto un mailserver e ho a che fare con qmail-ldap + amavisd-new. 
Ho seguito una guida trovata in rete per far funzionare amavisd con 
qmail, trovata a questo indirizzo:

e mi definisco l'alias del loopback come da guida con il comando:
ifconfig lo:0 127.10.10.10 netmask 255.0.0.0 up. Quando la mail arriva
viene sparata ad amavis che la frulla e la rispedisce indietro a qmail.
Il tutto funziona correttamente. La cosa stranissima e' che se non 
definisco l'alias e faccio partire amavisd ottengo dal netstat:

tcp        0      0 127.10.10.10:10628      0.0.0.0:* 
LISTEN      19230/amavisd (mast
tcp        0      0 127.0.0.1:49003         127.0.0.1:389 
ESTABLISHED 19230/amavisd (mast

Il tutto funziona, ma non c'e' nessun alias del loopback. Come caspita 
fanno qmail e amavisd a comunicare senza definire l'alias del loopback?
