slackware e gentoo.
la differenza piu' macroscopica è il sistema di gestione del software.
gentoo usa portage che gestisce sia pacchetti binari che la compilazione
dai sorgenti. slackware a quanto ne so gestisce solo paccheti binari.
slackware ha un sistema di script di gestione dei servizi tipo bsd, mentre
quello di gentoo è piu' simile a sistemV. tuttavia no avendo mai utilizzato
slackware direttamente le mie sono informazioni "per sentito dire" e quindi
probabilemente inesatte. la cosa migliore per valutare le differenze sarebbe
provarle direttamente.
