Mi e' venuta voglia di provare xmame. Con la 0.83 qualsiasi gioco mi
mandava la cpu (athlon64 3000+) alle stelle, quindi ho aggiornato alla
versione 0.97 e con giochi tipo pang (tetris non mi funziona) l'utilizzo
della cpu non sale troppo (circa il 30%). Con giochi tipo tekken 3
invece va a palla, ma forse la cosa e' giustificata. Come scheda grafica
ho una radeon 7200 con 64MB di ram, non e' potentissima ma pensavo
bastasse anche per giochi tipo tekken3. Pensate sia scarsa?
Per quanto riguarda Xorg ho la versione 6.8.2-r2 di gentoo.
Benche' il 3d funzioni l'output di glxinfo non sembra particolarmente
entusiasmante:

Posto la mia configurazione di xorg, se avete dei consigli su come
ottimizzarlo per i giochi ve ne sarei grato visto che non ho quasi mai
giocato con linux e non ne so gran che.
