Ciao,
ho installato un controller usb 2.0 pci al quale ho collegato un disco esterno
removibile.
Come posso fare a capire su quale device mi viene visto il disco esterno usb?

Con # dmesg | more
mi pare che il nuovo controller sia questo
<snip>
PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:07.2
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:07.3
usb-uhci.c: USB UHCI at I/O 0xc400, IRQ 11
usb-uhci.c: Detected 2 ports
usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
hub.c: USB hub found
hub.c: 2 ports detected
PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:07.3
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:07.2
usb-uhci.c: USB UHCI at I/O 0xc800, IRQ 11
usb-uhci.c: Detected 2 ports
usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 2
hub.c: USB hub found
hub.c: 2 ports detected
<snip>
ma, a differenza del controller integrato sulla mobo che mi fa' vedere i
devices come sda ed sdb, non vedo il device associato al disco esterno.

Il tutto, ovviamente, mi serve per editare l'/etc/fstab.

Tnx
Giovanni
