ti conviene farlo prima.... se non ho capito male, oltre al 50-60% di
prestazioni in più rispetto ai vecchi driver, hanno introdotto
anti-aliasing fino all'8x e filtro anisotropo fino al 16x (ossia
tutto)... e ripeto se nn ho capito male, queste cose prima non c'erano
(io nn lo so perchè la mia 9200se supportava in teoria l'anti-aliasing
al 2x ma era meglio non farlo (che già era lenta così) quindi non ho mai
saputo se fosse veramente possibile farlo anche col driver linux....


la tua ati con sto driver potrebbe volare :-) ma una cosa: non ho visto
portage ma, se non c'è ancora l'ebuild, ufficiale devi smanettare un po'
per copiare tutto le librerie dalla cartella work (prodotto della
compilazione) e far tutti i symlink giusti.

purtroppo io domani parto e non so quando torno....   quindi non credo
di sserti utile per il linuxday (ossia domani)...
