Ciao a tutti, ho un problema con grub. Il mio sistema ha un disco SATA
partizionato come segue:
Disk /dev/sda: 80.0 GB, 80000000000 bytes
16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 155009 cylinders
Units = cilindri of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes
Dispositivo Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 1 40641 20482843+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/sda2 40641 71114 15358140 83 Linux
/dev/sda3 * 71114 90490 9765945 83 Linux
/dev/sda4 90491 155009 32517576 5 Esteso
/dev/sda5 90491 92429 977224+ 82 Linux swap
/dev/sda6 92430 102118 4883224+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda7 102119 155009 26657032+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda1 = WinXP SP2
/dev/sda2 = fedora core 3 x86_64
/dev/sda3 = fedora core 3 x86
/dev/sda6 = Slackware10
Ho provato a installare lilo su /dev/sda e
questo si ferma a "L". Il problema e' forse peche' /dev/sda3 e
/dev/sda6 sono oltre i 40GB ??
Il boot su /dev/sda1 e /dev/sda2 non da problemi.
[root@zx25 ~]# cat /boot/grub/grub.conf
# grub.conf generated by anaconda

# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file

"The only system which is truly secure, is one which is switched off
and unplugged, locked in a titanium lined safe, buried in a concrete
bunker, surrounded by nerve gas and very highly paid armed guards. Even
then, I wouldn't stake my life on it" - Gene Spafford

NIC and wake on "date" set in the BIOS)
