[Golem] problema bassa risoluzione video con ultimo aggiornamento kubuntu

Ciao, dopo l'ultimo aggiornamento di kubuntu, le impostazioni di 
risoluzione video VGA-1 mi sono tornate alle originali 1024x768 (4:3).

in passato avevo modificato e risolto il problema portando la 
risoluzione a 1920X1080 modificando il file 10-monitor.conf, ma ora 
sembra non dare alcun effetto.

di seguito schermata xrandr:

c'è collegato anche un televisore hdmi-1 che però non viene rilevato e 
funziona perfettamente.
