Hi. I just compiled 1.20.0 and have 2 questions:
1- I'm not sure how it worked in the past, but why mev,
hltest, mouse-config, and gpm-root are linked against the
static library ? I see the shared library is compiled after
them.
And maybe you could include --disable-static and
--disable-shared.
2- Now there's some verbosity, but do we need the first line ?
Feb 23 16:51:46 pervalidus gpm[29033]: info: [/usr/local/src/gpm-1.20.0/src/gpn.c(363)]:
Feb 23 16:51:46 pervalidus gpm[29033]: Started gpm successfully. Entered daemon mode.
And a report. There are 2 GCC 3.x warnings:
/usr/local/src/gpm-1.20.0/src/synaptics.c: In function syn_read_config_file':
/usr/local/src/gpm-1.20.0/src/synaptics.c:819: warning: deprecated use of label at end of compound statement
/usr/local/src/gpm-1.20.0/src/gpm-root.y: In function f_fgcmd':
/usr/local/src/gpm-1.20.0/src/gpm-root.y:501: warning: deprecated use of label at end of compound statement
Thanks for your work all, especially Nico.
