[gpm]alternate wmode for GPM synaptics

Dear list,

I have just completed a port of the XFree86 synaptics driver to GPM.  Some
users might prefer the behaviour of his mode over the "normal" wmode.

If you would like to integrate this with GPM (it does not conflict with any
existing functionality, but adds an extra mode to the synps2 support) that
would be good.
