I admit It's not written very often:

   morgana% zgrep urpose /usr/share/info/gpm.info.gz
      This file documents the 1.17 release of the "General Purpose Mouse"

But it's 10 times in total:

morgana% zcat gpm-1.20.0.tar.gz | grep -ai general.purpose | wc -l
     10
