...the same you told him and which is totally true.

There are currently some efforts to merge "evdev-drivers"
into gpm. As soon as they are in, there will be a 1.20.2 release.

I forgot to announce on the list, that there is now a nightly
build from the monotone database at ftp.schottelius.org/pub/linux/gpm/.

The snapshot and the sources in the monotone database are most likely
useable in production environment.
