Yes, I know it's better to test BEFORE to commit. Still.

2.4 => very flickery, just like it used to be way back in the beginning,
 before oleg did something (disable USB?)

2.6 => I tried, quite a few vpp errors, then busybox started, one of its
 subprocesses died with a sigsegv, another died with a sigill, and finally
 it died with no message.

Sigh.
