some more news for the friends of jornada820 hardware.
The GPB4 pin is the main battery on/off. I don't understand
what bits should be set in apm. Look at apm.c in mach-sa1100
and tell me.
sa1101-fb seems to be write-only. Bad news for those who
has 16MB RAM. Giving away 2MB for backing store and
wasting CPU time for refresh is simply not good.
The 'sleep' keyboard button generates two-byte code 0x0dff
instead of the usual key/0x80+key. Is that the reason for
hanging ?
The backup battery and other "HP settings" are accessed
through the UCB1200 ADC and audio_control_b registers.
I don't really understand what's going on there, and it
is minor problem anyway.
Buggy pcmcia makes me crazy.
