Which X for the jornada?

OK, so I made a xmodmap entry file (attached) for XFree86. Apparently,
xfree86 keycodes are whatever Linux returned plus 8.

However, next problem is, the keyboard has no autorepeat under X. I
try xset rate 250 30 and xset r on, to no avail. I don't know what
we're doing wrong, here. I thought we would inherit the kbdrate
feature from the pc_keyb driver. Apparently not.
