ho la stessa tua scheda e la stessa distribuzione e non ho avuto problemi 
tranne per il fatto che il file di configurazione di Xfree 4.01 e' 
XF86Config-4 

ti allego il mio file di configurazione puo' servirti credo, in ogni 
caso te lo posso commentare
