[Primipassi] problemi di accesso con ssh

[luc pac]

uso mandrake 8.2, qualcuno mi sa dire come mai non riesco a fare il login
su localhost tramite ssh:

preciso che:

* la porta 22 e' aperta sul firewall
* ho provato anche generando chiavi RSA o DSA (anche se vorrei la semplice
autenticazione tramite password), ma il risultato e' identico
* nel file di configurazione di ssh la chiave PasswordAuthentication e' Yes
(ma dovrebbe comunque esserlo di default)
* cercando di accedere da host esterni il risultato e' identico
