Proviamo a fare un'analisi un po' più tecnica.
(quale distribuzione Linux usi?)

Apri un terminale e prova a dare il comando

        ifconfig | grep inet:

Per vedere se ha preso l'indirizzo
e manda in lista il risultato dell'output

ecco risultato

Poi prova a dare il comando:

        route | grep default

questo risultato

e poi il comando:

       cat /etc/resolv.conf | grep nameserver

Per vedere se ha preso i dns. Se va bene ti risponde simile a
nameserver 192.168.42.10

ecco cosa esce

per avere la conferma che è un problema di DNS  ;-)
