[Pxc] Problem

I am running (or rather trying to) your version "pxc-0.28" for the 
Imagenation pxc200F video board.
Running on i686 cpu, RH 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-5.0.

Seems to have installed OK.
Loads OK.

But, when I try to run pxc_xgrab (or pxc_live, or any other), I get 
"application initialization failed.  No display name and no $DISPLAY 
environment variable".  And "invalid argument".

What have I missed?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
