[pxc] Driver problems

We've been using the PXC 0.2x driver without problems for a long time,
but it doesn't compile with Linux 2.4, so now I'm trying to get the
0.81 version working with a PXC-200AL. Here are the startup messages
from the driver:

pxc200: found PXC200AL: mem=0xcd000000, irq=7
pxc200: pxc driver version 0.81 loaded

pxc_grab fails with a '/dev/pxc0pgm: getsequence: Device or resource
busy' error message. The message "pxc200: acq_on with a buffer
active" shows up in the kernel log.

My Python module for the PXC still runs, but returns a blank bright
blue image every time.

One thing I noticed: the PXC is using the same IRQ as the USB
controller. The kernel happily logs "Sharing IRQ 5" messages on
booting up, implying that there's no problem with IRQ sharing, but
could that be a problem?
