Mentre la macchina caricava il sistema (Ubuntu 6.06), quindi schermo 
nero e lettere bianche, come una console, si bloccava al 75.5% e dava il 
seguente avviso:
WARNING fsck-ext3 for device /dev/hda2 exited with signal 11 (ubuntu è 
installato su hda2, ovvio)
An automatic file system of the root filesystem failed.
A manual fsck must be performed, then the system rebooted.
This fsck can be performed in maintenance mode.
Please note that that the root filesystem is currently mounted read-only.
The fsck should be performed while the root filesystem is mounted read 
only. However, the command to remount it read-write is

mount -n -o remount, rw /

Poi diceva altre cose, fra l'altro che per riavviare bisognava premere 
control+d.
Io l'ho fatto non credendoci proprio, invece si è riavviato e adesso 
funziona tutto.
Come è possibile? Sembrava un avviso, ehem, importante.
Che devo fare? Non è un quesito proprio adatto a voi? :-)
