Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 1.3

Provato la versione 1.3 di Ubuntu Ultimate Edition, reperebile all'indirizzo :

La distro arriva da una precedente versione denominata 'christmas
edition' e come
dice l'autore vista la sua popolarità si è sentito il dovere di
migliorarla ed aggiungere
molte interessanti caratteristiche preinstallate e pronte all'utilizzo
per totale di
1.9 gigabyte.
Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 1.3 deriva da : Ubuntu - Edgy Eft 6.10,
(debian based) e un software
Reconstructor che permette con un solo click di modificare l'intera
distribuzione, molto simile
a 'nlite' per windows.
Personalmente sono rimasto entusiasta, e dopo averla provato ho deciso
di installarla
definitivamente sull'hardisk.
 Non sono state incluse per motivi di ristrettezza alcune versioni commerciali

- aggiunta repository extra

UUE si avvia come un normale live-dvd con la possibilità di
installarla automaticamente
sull'hd con una semplice procedura guidata, rispecchia l'installazione
tipica di ubuntu-dekstop

in conclusione

UUE 1.3 è derivata da edgy, quindi non c'è nessun problema per quanto
rigarda l'upgrade
a feisty. Questa distro è una normale ubuntu con parecchio software
installato, ideale
per chi ha una connessione a 56k. Tuttavia molto software risulta
essere 'in più' quindi vale
il detto una distro piccola (mint) ed evitare il grosso dei problemi o
una più cicciona
con tutto già installato e funzionate ?!

be vale "la pena" di provarla !
