Ieri sera ci ho riprovato. Sistematicamente dopo 2 minuti secchi, si
disconnette o con codice 15 o 16

   15 The link was terminated because the peer is not responding to
   requests.

   16 The link was terminated by the modem hanging up.

La modalità stupida è attivata ed il timeout è impostato a 0
(gnome-ppp). Ho provato anche con pon/off ma stesso identico
comportamento.

Ho controllato il telefono ma non sembrano esserci impostazioni. Ho
cercato con google (e sto cercando) ma non ne vengo a capo. Trovo
esempi di configurazione ma esattamente come l'ho impostato io.

Adesso provo a contattare vodafone; se hanno qualche parametro di
configurazione me lo faccio mandare. Dubito fortemente che potranno
essermi di aiuto.

In fondo c'è qualche log.
