MI suonaerebbe meglio "ne richiede l'accesso esclusivo" (con l'articolo ma non so... e una costruzione complessa.. forse addirittura rigirerei in "L'esecuzione di benchmark per il tasso di scrittura richiede l'accesso esclusivo al disco ..." , ma guarda tu come pensi meglio, ovviamente).
Per far capire meglio che legge i dati e riscrive gli stessi forse qualcosa tipo " ...e comporta la lettura e seguente riscrittura dei dati. I contenuti del disco pertanto non vengono modificati."

e qui tocchi una delle mie manie (ci litigo anche con i colleghi *g*). In teoria (e a mio parere secondo gli standard internazionali), il simbolo dell'unità di misura è "°C" e "°F" e come in tutti gli altri casi lo spazio va tra il numero e il simbolo (es 30 °C) e non tra il ° e il C/F (30° C), come in questo messaggio... vabbé tanto non mi dà mai retta nessuno ....però provo sempre a fare proseliti, prima o poi conquisterò il mondo! :)

In questi 2... guastarsi come verbo per un attributo mi lascia perplessa, ma porca vacca davvero non ho trovato nulla di meglio, quindi complimenti! perché io neanche sarei riuscita a cavarmici fuori
Nel secondo in italiano sembra il passo successivo del primo, ma in inglese mi fa pensare a qualcosa che nel passato è andato storto, poi si è risistemato (il che non significa che sia una buona cosa...probabilmente si ri-romperà *g*).
Quindi cercherei un modo per rendere quel "in the past" che a mio parere significa che ora non lo è più. (Altrimenti sarebbe "failed", punto e basta).
forse semplicemente "...attributo si è guastato in passato"
