Greetings,

my article on "Uncovering progress in FOSS-based archeology" has been
published on Newsforge at the URL

http://trends.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=06/06/22/1714202

Due exclusively to word limits constraint, I was forced to leave out a
lot of the information I received from you.

Please don't hesitate to add directly, as comments to the article, any
relevant information you might want to share with Newsforge readers:
updates to what I wrote, invitations to join research or sw
development projects in the "FOSS in Archeology" field, extra details
on some specific topic, requests for useful software for task X,
whatever...

It would also be great if you could all keep an eye on the forum in
the next 3/4 days, to answer directly any question the readers might
have on your activities and methods.

Should you find typing mistakes or any other actual error in the text,
please contact me directly.

I hope this article will be useful for your activity. Please let me
know, in any moment, if there are interesting developments.

Last but not least, I am always looking for new stories of this kind,
that is FOSS used by non-IT specialists: you are always welcome to
signal them to me.

Thanks for your time and support,

	Marco
