[LaTeX] Cambiare il reset di un counter esistente (RISOLTO)

Se a qualcun'altro dovesse servire ho trovato questo codice per fare
quanto mi serviva.

\usepackage{remreset}		
\makeatletter
\@removefromreset{table}{chapter}
\makeatother


Non mi è ben chiaro l'utilizzo di \makeatletter e \makeatother ma
per ora l'importante è che funzioni.
