Se dovesse servire a qualcuno posto la risposta piu' completa ricevuta:

it depends on system. For Unix it is 0xa .
Mac is 0xd , Windows it is two chars: 0xd and 0xa . Some old DOS programs 
may
use (it is
wrong..) 0xa and 0xd .
