In some cases, like model section profiles or spacial mapping, osm-bundler package results are good enough to be used without the need of interpolation/mesh creation.

HD video cameras can also be used to create good point clouds in a fast way. To do this, each video file must be converted to individual photo frame images, necessary to osm-bundler processing.
I think some software, like vlc or mplayer, can facilitate the process, exporting *.avi to *.jpg with regular intervals (i.e. export only frame images with one or two second intervals).
HD video work better with objects that require a larger number of images for osm-bundler processing, like single artifacts (i.e. pottery), rock art or epigraphy.
