I do
        barcode -b 123 -e i25 -E -o i25-123.eps -n
rip the resulting eps at 2540 dpi and measure the width in the
resulting bitmap.

The widths I get are (starting left):
b 0.31mm, s 0.40mm, b 0.31mm, s 0.40mm, b 1.01mm, s 0.40mm,
b 0.31mm, s 1.11mm, b 0.30mm, s 0.40mm, b 0.31mm, s 0.40mm, ...

So small bars are 0.31mm, small spaces are 0.40mm. Large bars are
1.01mm, large spaces are 1.11mm. That's not the same width for
black and white. :-)

Best regards
        Martin
