Il piu' delle volte la risposta e' si'. Nuove release contengono, di
norma, miglioramenti ma soprattutto bug-fixes.

Sono due rami di sviluppo diversi. Il 2.4 e' l'attuale versione "in
mantenimento", il che significa che difficilmente verranno inserite
grosse novita' in futuro. Il 2.6 e' invece l'attuale "top", che com-
prende notevoli miglioramenti rispetto alla serie precedente.
Le versioni dispari, ovvero di test, sono state la 2.3 e la 2.5; lo
sara' l'imminente 2.7.

E' possibilissimo, basta configurare correttamente il tuo boot-loader.
