umh...sei sicuro di avere usato fglrxconfig al termine dell'installazione? E 
prima ancora hai verificato se l'installazione del driver termina senza 
errori?

Il comando fglrxconfig genera proprio un nuovo file di configurazione, e nella 
sezione che tu hai copiato, dovrebbero appunto appaire informazioni relative 
ad ATI.
