Se lancio startx come root gnome è in italiano se lo lancio da gdm è in inglese proprio come l'utente.
Il discorso è che il sistema con Xfree4.0.2 ignora il file Xsession che è stato sostituito da Xwrapper.config (sempre in /etc/X11):
Xwrapper.config:
 allowed_users=console
 nice-value=10
 
 che significa?
